Our lives are constantly being affected by forces that are outside of our control. When experiencing a negative change in one’s mental health, physical well-being, or connection with others it is easy to feel overwhelmed, anxious, and/or depressed. I see the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative alliance that can empower you to make positive changes and gain a greater sense of meaning and control in your life.

I practice Existential Therapy, but I draw heavily from Eco Psychology, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means that we may explore themes like self-identity, empowerment, meaning-making, nature connection, shifting your internal narrative, and mindfulness in our time together. As an Eco Therapist, I often use interventions that incorporate a connection to the natural world as a source of resiliency and healing.

I received my BA in Outdoor Leadership from Warren Wilson College in 2012 and worked for several years as a therapeutic and commercial wilderness guide. I witnessed firsthand the benefits that nature connection could have on mental health, and this inspired me to want to become a therapist.
I completed my MA in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis and Clark College in 2023 as well as their Certificate in Eco Therapies.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. I welcome clients of all ethnicities, genders, orientations, abilities, and religions. I am an ally to and welcome clients who identify as LGBTQ+ or hold other minority identities. I specialize in working with clients who have completed wilderness therapy treatment and are integrating that experience back into their lives.
