NANONEEDLING
What is Nanoneedling?
Nano-needling is a non-invasive transdermal serum delivery system. It is similar to Microneedling, but specifically designed for more sensitive areas of the face, thinner skin, and unlike Microneedling, can be done on a weekly basis.
A stylus is used to oscillate nano-cartridges to the skin that have thousands of microscopic pyramid-like tips that penetrate the epidermal layer. These cartridges are thinner than human hair, and, when they touch the skin, form as much as 200,000 nano-channels. Through these channels the serum and hyaluronic acid can access and renew the skin.
The result? A significantly higher absorption rate of up to 97% for serum retention, all while the skin’s collagen production is stimulated. The boost in collagen production, coupled with the serum and hyaluronic acid can revitalize sensitive areas such as the eyelids, lips, crow’s feet, lip lines, thinner skin, and where Microneedling cannot be performed.
Nanoneedling can benefit conditions such as:
- Acne scars
- Fine lines
- Wrinkles

- Lost elasticity

Nanoneedling Treatment Aftercare
After the initial treatment, you will want to keep the face clean and not touch it with your hands while it heals. You do not want to wash it with soap or a face cleanser until the next morning after treatment. Use a sensitive face cleanser, serum, and cream at least 2x/daily, which can be recommended to those who do not have a current skincare regimen. Depending upon the patient and their skin, you will want to use gentler products on the skin for 1-7 days after treatment. Then you may return to your normal skincare routine. It is also important to wear a mineral sunscreen for the first week when you go outside, or are exposed to direct ultraviolet rays. Remember to use a gentle cleansing regimen 2x/daily, stay hydrated, get adequate sleep, and eat a whole-balanced diet for maximum lasting results.
