Hello, my name is Alli. I am glad you have made your way to this page, and I am looking forward to getting to know you!

We all experience difficulties in life, and it can be challenging to navigate struggles on our own. Asking for help is an important part of this process, and I am glad you have found me in your search. I have over 9 years of experience helping individuals through their struggles, and I strongly believe that everyone can make positive change in their lives.

My clients say that I am caring, trust-worthy, understanding, funny, and direct when need be. I strive to be radically inclusive, non-pathologizing and consider myself deeply leftist/progressive, class conscious and anticapitalist. I curse in session, I will send you memes, I address social justice issues in therapy, and I do my own social justice education and advocacy work outside of sessions as well. My approach is trauma-informed, intersectional, feminist, antiracist and person-centered.

I believe that the relationship that we form as therapist and client is the most important aspect of our work together. I focus on validating the experience of my clients, and I bring the strengths of my client to the forefront of the work we do. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space to discuss and process your experiences in your own time, in an environment where you will never be judged. I have struggled with my own traumatic experiences and childhood emotional wounds, and I know how difficult, confusing, and lonely healing can be.

I believe that Black lives matter, I believe that love is love, I believe in health at every size, I believe that women’s rights are human rights, I believe that no one is illegal, and I believe that going to therapy is cool.

I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor – Qualified Supervisor (12890), and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (23415). I have experience in the field of counseling working with children, adolescents and adults of many different races and ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, gender expressions, sexual identities, abilities, and religious beliefs, in a variety of settings.

I work with adults (18 and up), who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, gender identity, neurodivergence and substance use. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I utilize aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (addressing how thoughts impact feelings and behaviors), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, also known as EMDR (trauma focused technique that helps with processing upsetting memories), and Internal Family Systems (also known as parts work, which identifies and addresses multiple sub-personalities or parts within each person’s mental system).

I currently offer individual therapy and I am accepting new clients at this time.
